Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties
In this hands-on role, you will be expected to perform a wide range of electrical installation, testing, and maintenance tasks to the highest industry standards. Your day-to-day work will be varied and technically demanding.

- Second Fix & Terminations: Fitting sockets, switches, light fittings, consumer units, and connecting circuits. Ensuring all terminations are secure and compliant with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
- Testing & Inspection: Conducting initial verification and periodic inspection & testing of electrical installations. Completing Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC) and Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificates (MEIWC) using calibrated test equipment.

- Client Liaison & Teamwork: Working collaboratively with site managers, other trades, and directly with clients or tenants. Providing clear, professional updates on progress and any issues encountered.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Strictly adhering to all site-specific and company health & safety policies, including RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements), and ensuring a clean, tidy, and safe work area at all times.
- Materials & Tools: Managing personal tool inventory and liaising with supervisors to ensure required materials are available, helping to maintain project timelines.
