- Interpret technical drawings, CAD plans, and client specifications to manufacture bespoke cabinets, wardrobes, bookcases, and fitted furniture to exacting standards.
- Operate and maintain a range of workshop machinery safely and efficiently, including panel saws, edge banders, CNC routers (training provided), routers, and sanders.
- Lead and complete on-site installation projects, ensuring perfect fit, finish, and client satisfaction. This includes site preparation, assembly, fixing, and final snagging.
- Select and work with a variety of materials including solid timber, MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, and hardware, with a keen eye for grain matching and finish quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and vehicle, adhering to all health & safety regulations (COSHH, risk assessments) and ensuring tools are in excellent condition.
- Collaborate effectively with workshop managers, designers, and other trades on-site (like Building Services Maintenance teams) to ensure project cohesion and timely delivery.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, or Furniture Installer, with a portfolio or examples of your work. Time-served apprenticeship or relevant qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ) highly advantageous.
