Key Responsibilities & Duties
On-Site Core Duties
- Assisting skilled demolition operatives with the safe dismantling of structures using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Manual handling and removal of debris, rubble, and waste materials, ensuring efficient segregation for recycling and disposal.
- Operating site vehicles such as dumpers and telehandlers (with appropriate tickets/experience) to transport materials.
- Rigorous Site Cleaner duties post-demolition, including sweeping, washing down, and preparing areas for the next phase of work.
Safety & Teamwork
- Strict adherence to all Health & Safety regulations, site-specific risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
- Participating in daily tool box talks and maintaining a clean, tidy, and hazard-free work environment.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, checking materials, and ensuring secure storage on site.
- Providing general labouring support to the site team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.
What We're Looking For: Essential Requirements
Must-Have Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Labourer, Demolition Labourer, or in a similar manual role.
- Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is essential.
- Full understanding of health and safety protocols on construction sites.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in all weather conditions.
- Own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including safety boots, hi-vis, and hard hat.
Desirable Skills
